When craving a lip-smacking snack, try these Honey Garlic Butter Steak Bites!
The beef cubes are absolutely tender, moist, and super flavorful. The sticky sauce coating has a beautiful sweet and sour taste. If you don’t prefer chili heat, relish them garnished with finely sliced spring onions or toasted sesame seeds. They add a refreshing or nutty flavor, respectively!

No Rush
Ingredients
2x pack of beef cubes (30g 1 serve)
1 Tbsp unsalted butter
2 tsp garlic (minced)
1½ Tbsp honey
2-3 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
1 Tbsp olive/canola oil
1 sliced red chili (for serving)
Directions
Heat a pan over a medium flame. Add the butter.
Add the minced garlic and stir cook for 20-30 seconds.
Add the honey and soy sauce. Reduce heat to low, mix well for 1-2 mins, and remove the pan from heat.
Now, put the beef cubes in a bowl and pour water to immerse the meat entirely. Let them rehydrate for a 20 minutes, then drain the water and keep it aside.
Drizzle a tablespoon of canola oil in a pan over a medium-high flame.
Once the oil is hot, place the rehydrated beef cubes in a single layer on the hot skillet. Sear for 1-2 mins per side till they are cooked through and turn golden.
Lastly, drizzle the honey garlic butter sauce. Mix well to coat the beef cubes with the sauce.
Recipe Note
Serve the “Honey Garlic Butter Steak Bites” with sliced red chilli.
Tips
Avoid stirring continuously to achieve that perfect golden sear on the beef cubes. Instead, let one side sear undisturbed for 1-2 minutes and then flip.
