The product will need to be rehydrated in water for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, other ingredients can be prepared. Once rehydrated, the meat can be cooked like the usual meat.
The best-before date on the packaging is listed as 1 year from the date of production. However, the expiry of No Rush freeze-dried raw meat should last 2-3 years at a minimum. The No Rush Raw chicken products are made stable by dehydration and not by additives and are therefore very stable. The water activity is low to prevent any microbial or fungi growth. They should be kept in a cool and dry environment. The product should not be refrigerated though.
