Yes the products are raw and will need to be cooked. In this way, their original nutrition and taste is preserved.
For 60g packs, the beef rehydrates back to approximately 200g+, a typical portion of a steak.
These meat products are not jerky and there are no preservatives. The freeze drying process ensures that the texture of the product is as close as possible to raw fresh meat when cooked.
The product will need to be rehydrated in water for about 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, other ingredients can be prepared. Once rehydrated, the meat can be cooked like the usual meat.

Yes it is gluten-free as we do not use any additives, only 100% New Zealand meat.
Yes, the package is resealable (60g) and the product is very shelf stable. Please do not refrigerate the product. Reseal the pack (keep the moisture absorber in the pack) and keep the pack in a cool dry place. It will be conveniently be ready to use the next time you need some meat. The 30g packs are made for single serve and there is no resealable strip.
Our products are not sourced from halal meat processors and therefore they are not halal.
The best before date on the packaging is listed as 1 year from the date of production. However, the expiry of No Rush freeze dried raw meat should last 2-3 years at a minimum. The No Rush Raw beef products are made stable by dehydration and not by additives and is therefore very stable. The water activity is low to prevent any microbial or fungi growth. They should be kept in a cool and dry environment. The product should not be refrigerated though.
